Numbers from Second Manatee Count Set for Release
What: Scientists with the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC) Florida Marine Research Institute (FMRI) will be conducting the second statewide synoptic survey to count manatees next week. Crews, representing agencies and organizations from all over the state, will be counting by both air and ground Jan. 21-22.
When: On Monday, Jan. 27, the results of the count will be made available in a press release via e-mail. If you are getting this advisory, you are on the distribution list.
Where: Air and ground surveys are conducted all over the state.
