Standing Watch, in response to reports that critical manatee areas in SW
Florida were not included in the synoptic survey of last week, has
contacted FFWCC regarding this omission. FFWCC has agreed to conduct a
new state-wide count which will include Ten Mile Creek and the areas of
Estero Bay, Mullock Creek and Rock Point.

Standing Watch appreciates the cooperative spirit of FFWCC. We
understand that this was an oversight, not a deliberate ommission.
